TNC Cable Assemblies
TNC cable assemblies are a common type of RF coaxial cable connector used in a wide range of telecom and RF applications.TNC connectors are similar to BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connectors, but utilize a threaded coupling mechanism to provide a more secure connection for applications that are susceptible to vibration or movement. They are typically suitable for applications up to 12 GHz, including WiFi antennas, telecom equipment, test and measurement equipment, and other devices that require a reliable RF connection.
TNC cable consist of a coaxial cable and an assembly with RF connectors fitted at both ends. Cable types (e.g. RG58, RG174, etc.) are selected according to specific application requirements to meet impedance, signal attenuation and flexibility requirements.
