DIN 1.6/5.6 Connector

The DIN 1.6/5.6 connector operates at 75 ohm up to 1 GHz. The 1.6-5.6 product line is available in two coupling versions: threaded and push-pull. The threaded coupling version provides a positive, familiar fit, while the push-pull coupling version allows for quick installation.

The 75-ohm DIN 1.6/5.6 Connector is of a jack or plug gender construction and has a 75-ohm impedance. 75-ohm 1.6-5.6 connectors are available in straight or right-angle versions, as well as a spacer or no mounting options. These 75-ohm 1.6-5.6 connector designs include clamp/solder, crimp/solder, or solder connection methods.

The 1.6/5.6 connector series is a miniature European design that allows for dense connector packaging, making it an ideal solution for space-constrained applications. Operating at a maximum frequency of 1 GHz, applications are limited to low frequency 75 Ω radio transmissions such as CATV telecommunications and CCTV distribution.
