TS9 Connector
The TS-9 (or TS9) is an uncommon RF coaxial connector used in cellular devices such as 3G and 4G mobile broadband modems to support the connection of external antennas. TS-9 connectors are not designed and manufactured to follow any defined international standards, nor do they follow proprietary specifications.
The TS9 female connector consists of a very simple round brass housing with an outside diameter of 3.5 mm. The connector is typically attached to the PCB via surface mount or end-mount. The connector is most commonly found on wireless broadband devices manufactured by Netgear and Sierra Wireless.
TS9 male connectors are not manufactured in a controlled manner. However, they are identified by a 3.5 mm ID and a 3.8 mm OD. Male connectors are primarily used to interconnect coaxial cables but are occasionally used for small direct connections to external antennas.
